Choose the room that removes the hardest journey: close to the yacht for handovers, close to SXM for an early flight, or practical for a longer stay ashore.

Choose around the job

A one-night joiner has different needs from crew staying ashore for two weeks. Start with the yacht's location, reporting time, flight time and expected movements, then compare rooms.

A cheaper bed across the island can cost more once repeated transfers and lost time are included.

Check the details crew actually use

Ask about late arrival, early checkout, reliable Wi-Fi, laundry, cooking facilities, parking, luggage storage, cancellation terms and the exact room configuration.

For several crew, confirm whether names can change and whether the booking needs one payer or individual payment.

Test the journey that matters most: room to marina gate before a morning handover, or room to airport before an early flight. A district name and a map distance are not enough when the reporting time is fixed.

Keep one fallback

Flights, yard schedules and yacht movements change. Avoid a non-refundable booking unless the saving is worth the risk, and keep the transfer plan tied to the latest berth and reporting time.

Questions that change the plan

Settle these before anyone moves.

Is it better to stay near SXM or near the marina?

Stay near the airport for a very early departure or short disruption; stay near the yacht when handovers, work or repeated reporting times matter more.

Should several crew share a villa?

It can suit a longer stay, but confirm beds, access, deposits, cleaning, transport and responsibility for damage before booking.

Can crew leave luggage at SXM?

SXM states that baggage storage is not currently available. Arrange storage with the accommodation or another confirmed facility.

Should accommodation be booked before a flight change is settled?

Hold a flexible option where possible. Do not assume the airline, yacht or accommodation will absorb the cost of a changed plan.

Ready to arrange it?

Give us the dates and the duty schedule.

Tell us where the yacht is, when each crew member reports and how flexible the booking can be. We’ll shortlist accommodation and coordinate the movements around it.
