Who is responsible

Information we may process
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, the time of the request, and security or diagnostic information.
When you contact us
When you submit a website form, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, vessel or company, dates, requested service and message. General and agency enquiries are delivered to our Zoho CRM account so authorised team members can review and respond to them. Where present, the form also records the allowlisted campaign fields utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content. It does not submit a Meta click ID to Zoho. You can use the published email, office telephone or WhatsApp contact instead if you prefer not to use a website form.
Cloudflare Turnstile processes limited technical and security information to protect the forms from automated abuse. It does not receive the contents of your enquiry from us.
Please do not include passport copies, medical information, payment details or other sensitive documents in an initial website enquiry. We will provide an appropriate private channel when those records are genuinely required for a service.
Why we use information
We use information only where it is reasonably needed to:
- respond to an enquiry and prepare or perform requested services;
- coordinate with the vessel, authorities and service providers;
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the website;
- maintain necessary business and transaction records; and
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting or safety obligations.
Depending on the circumstances, the basis for this processing is your request before entering into an agreement, performance of an agreement, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of a vital interest, or our legitimate interest in operating and securing the agency and responding to customers.
Who may receive information
Information may be handled by our website host, form-security provider, CRM provider, email provider and authorised members of the Sea Grapes team. When necessary for your request, we may share relevant details with port or border authorities, marinas, transport providers, suppliers, professional advisers or other service providers. We share only what is reasonably needed for the relevant task or where disclosure is required by law.
Some providers may process information outside Sint Maarten. We select providers and working methods with appropriate confidentiality and security measures for the information involved.
How long information is kept
Technical records are kept according to the security and retention settings of our hosting provider. Enquiry and service records are kept only for as long as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or securely restricted.
Cookies and analytics
The public production website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated page views and referring sources. Preview pages are excluded and query strings are removed before analytics events are sent. We do not use this service for advertising, cross-site tracking or session replay, and it does not set analytics cookies.
Usercentrics stores and applies your privacy choices. On the public production site, Google Tag Manager can load consent-gated Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel tags. Google Analytics requires Analytics consent and Meta Pixel requires Marketing consent; both are denied by default. We use their reports for website measurement and campaign attribution, not as proof that an enquiry reached us. Hosting security and protected preview environments may use strictly necessary cookies. Read our cookie policy for provider and choice details.
Your choices and rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, supplementation, deletion or restriction where applicable. You may also object to certain processing based on your particular circumstances. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Send a request to myagent@sea-grapes.com. You may also raise a concern with the competent personal-data protection authority or seek the remedies available under Sint Maarten law.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the website, our service-enquiry process or the providers handling information change. The date above shows the latest published version.
