A crew or guest transfer takes more than a flight number and driver. Plan documents, baggage, pickup and vessel access as one handover.
Check entry requirements before ticketing
SXM Airport advises visitors to carry a valid passport and, where their nationality or purpose requires it, the correct visa and supporting entry documents. Check the official immigration guidance and the airline before ticketing; an itinerary or crew status does not guarantee entry.
Record each traveller’s passport name, nationality, documents, ticket and onboard contact in the controlled manifest. Keep guest names and travel schedules out of public pages and informal message groups.
Plan the airport-to-yacht handover
Record the flight number, scheduled and live arrival, passenger mobile number, baggage count, meet point, driver contact, berth, marina-access procedure and onboard receiver. Name who takes over if the flight is delayed, baggage is missing or the yacht moves berth.
Use live airport and airline information for changes; do not send the driver from the original booking time alone.
On arrival, passengers proceed through Immigration, baggage claim and Customs before reaching the Meet & Greet Hall. Build those steps into the pickup window and keep the driver reachable. For departures, SXM currently recommends arriving at least three hours before the flight during high season and busy periods; the airline’s instruction takes priority.
Treat private aviation separately
SXM lists dedicated FBO facilities, passenger and crew services, and on-site border formalities for private aviation. Arrange handling in advance and do not plan an FBO arrival as if it were a main-terminal pickup.
